Yes. Creating an account, joining the community, using the forum, discovering studios and events, booking studio time, and publishing your own events are all free — always. No credit card needed.
No. You can join as an independent ceramicist, explore the community, post in the forum, and discover events without belonging to any studio.
Studios invite members by email. Ask your studio owner to invite you. Once invited you receive an email — click the link to accept and your studio access is ready.
Yes. One account can belong to multiple studios. Switch between them using the studio switcher in the app. Your community profile and connections travel with you.
Go to Community → Feed → Share your event. Add a title, date, location, and description. Your event appears in the community feed under your name — not linked to any studio.
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Your personal data is anonymised immediately. Forum posts remain but show as Deleted User. This cannot be undone.
After signing up, tap Create studio. Add your studio name, city, and country. You go through a short onboarding — description, tags, pricing, and member dashboard settings. All of this can be changed later in Studio Settings.
Every new studio gets 14 days of full access — kiln management, costs, billing, tasks, materials — no credit card needed. After the trial you choose a plan or continue with community-only features for free.
Go to Studio → Members → Invite member. Enter the email address. The default role is member. You can also invite assistants. Invitations are free — no limit on members.
Open a firing session, log each member's piece weight in kg. When you close the session, costs are split automatically based on weight — each member sees their share in their cost summary at the end of the month.
Go to Studio → Settings → Data backup. Download your full studio data as an Excel file — members, firings, costs, tasks, and events. We recommend doing this once a week.
You decide. Go to Studio → Settings → Member view to toggle which sections are visible — events, bookings, kilns, costs, materials, tasks, private kilns. Start simple and add more when you are ready.
No. You can create a studio and simply exist in the community — publish events, appear in the studio directory, invite members to join the forum and community feed. The management tools (kiln costs, billing, tasks, materials) are there when you need them, not before.
Many studios start with community features only and add management tools gradually as their workflow grows.
Use the Member visibility panel in Studio Settings → Member view. You decide exactly which sections appear on your members' dashboard — events, bookings, kiln history, costs, materials, tasks, private kilns.
Start with just events and bookings. Add kiln history and costs when your members are ready. Add materials and tasks when you want to go further. Each section has a description so you know what members will see before you turn it on.
Go to Studio → Settings → Subscription → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Your studio data remains accessible.
Clay suppliers, glaze brands, tool makers, pottery retreats, residency programmes, and galleries. Every application is reviewed manually. We only approve partners that are genuinely relevant to ceramicists.
Register at aruru.xyz/register and toggle Partner registration before submitting. Add your company name, description, category, and website. We review and respond within a few business days.
A partner update is a post in a dedicated sponsors section — separate from the community forum. Use it for new products, promotions, seasonal offers, or news from your brand. Always clearly marked as coming from a partner.
You see aggregate click and profile view counts — how many ceramicists visited your profile and clicked through to your website each month. We never share individual user data with partners.
Go to your partner profile in the app → Manage subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Contact lelekstudio@lelekstudio.com if you have billing questions.
